Business Development Representative

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the firm’s growth by driving lead-generation and business development initiatives
• Generate new client relationships and provide ongoing service in maintaining those relationships
• Work closely with the CEO, Managing Principal, other advisors, and the research team
• Articulate the firm’s investment philosophy and strategies in a clear and expert
manner to clients and prospects through one-on-one interactions as well as
group presentations
• Travel to investment conferences, companies, seminars, or other industry events
where potential clients may be located as well as other branch office locations
• Develop branding and marketing materials through multiple channels to build
brand awareness and drive engagement
• Plan and manage events for clients and prospects
• Comply with all registration requirements for Investment Adviser Representatives
in all jurisdictions where the firm is registered including completing necessary
licensing exams
• Demonstrate uncompromising integrity and maintain high ethical standards in all
interactions with clients, prospects, team members, and others as well as meet
sustained compliance with all firm policies
• Continue to learn and gain knowledge in areas which will benefit yourself, the
firm, and our clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• A passion for technology, financial services, and investment management
• A self-starter who is results-oriented
• Enjoys building relationships
• Adaptable, with proven ability to adjust to daily changes in routine or demands
with ease and manage presentations with agility and confidence
• Competitive Spirit
• Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, writing) with experience
developing sales and marketing presentations
